Made it work!
I needed a replacement burner for my 450 series fridge. This seemed to be about the only option. The original burner had a female compression fitting situation going on. I had to cut that off with a tubing cutter then add a 1/4 inch flare nut then flare the original aluminum line with a flare tool that you can rent from many auto parts stores. Reassembled and checked for leaks with a spray bottle of soapy water and it is now working better than ever. One hint, remove the ignitor when spraying the water. I got mine wet and it did not work. I took it out and sprayed it with brake cleaner to displace the water and let it dry in the sun for 10 min. Worked fine after that. Good luck!I needed a replacement burner for my 450 series fridge. Heavy duty burner at a reasonable price.
My old burner rusted out and the refrigerator would not stay lit because of a flame error. This is a heavy duty burner and did the trick. Easy to replace. Refrigerator works fine now. Good value and a fast shipper.

Worked perfect, better than original
This replaced the original burner in my 1988 Norcold 8600 series refrigerator perfectly, along with a new burner tube made at my local hardware for $9. The original burner design was discontinued, this burner has a different fitting design and is stainless steel.
